Introduction
It can be used for the selection of new materials, the improvement of existing materials, or the
evaluation of durability after the change of material composition. It can well simulate the changes of materials exposed to sunlight under different environmental conditions.
BEVS 3370 Multifunction Aging Chamber is a multi-functional test chamber integrating xenon
lamp aging resistance and salt spray test. The imported 6500 W long-arc water-cooled xenon
lamp is used as the light source, which can simulate the full sunlight spectrum. Salt spray adopts
corrosion-resistant automatic nozzle. By changing and controlling the light irradiance,
temperature (sample holder temperature, working room temperature), relative humidity, spray
mode, salt spray pressure and other ways, the comprehensive conditions of outdoor climate such as light, heat, rainfall and marine environment were simulated, and the artificial aging and salt
spray resistance tests were carried out on the samples. The equipment conforms to GB, ISO,
ASTM and other test methods, and is suitable for laboratory light source exposure test of various
materials and products such as coatings, plastics, rubber, chemical building materials,
automotive parts, etc. It can provide corresponding environmental simulation and accelerated test for scientific research, product development and quality control.
By controlling the temperature and humidity of the sample surface and spraying rain and salt fog, the marine natural environment is simulated to the greatest extent to meet all test requirements.
Main Functions
Irradiation Function
During the irradiation function, a water-cooled xenon lamp is utilized to simultate the damage effects of sunlight and the lamp control system regulates irradiance to ensure it meets the requirements stipulated in standards. The water cooling system removes the heat generated by the xenon lamp through circulating cooling water, maintaining it at an optimal operating temperature, thereby extending the service life of the xenon lamp.
Fog Function
When the Fog Function is performed, the salt solution in the external tank is pumped to the nozzle. Compressed air is humidified and heated by the saturator on its way to the nozzle. The corrosion solution is atomized by the salt spray nozzle and sprayed evenly. Chamber heaters maintain the chamber at the set temperature. Self-cleaning module cleans the transparent protective cover after testing.
Spray Function
During the Spray Function, pure water from the external water purifier is pumped to the nozzles and then water droplets spray out uniformly to simulate the damage caused by rain and dew. The spray nozzle is pointed straight at test panel surface.
Moisture Control Function
During the Moisture Control Function, the humidifier automatically starts or stops the humidification function according to the set target humidity value. The circulating blower reduces the humidity inside the chamber by replenishing the air or increasing the circulating air volume.The humidity inside the chamber is controlled by the humidifier and the circulating blower.
Temperature Control Function
Chamber heaters at the bottom can heat the air in the chamber directly. The circulating blower blows hot air into the interior of the chamber and uses the ventilation system to circulate the hot air inside the box so that the temperature inside the chamber rises evenly. Damper and VFD help decrease the temperature inside the chamber by replenishing the air. A black panel thermometer or black standard thermometer is used to monitor the specimen surface temperature, which can be adjusted by the blower.
