Introduction
BEVS 3370 Multifunction Aging Chamber is a versatile testing device that integrates xenon arc testing and salt spray testing into one unit. It utilizes an imported 6500W water-cooled xenon arc lamp as the light source, capable of simulating the full spectrum of sunlight. For salt spray testing, it features a corrosion-resistant, fully automatic spray nozzle. The chamber allows precise control of irradiance, temperature (sample rack temperature and chamber temperature), RH, spray modes, and salt spray pressure, effectively simulating outdoor conditions such as sunlight, heat, rain, and marine climate. By combining xenon arc weathering testing and salt spray testing, this equipment supports product development, quality control, and compliance with international standards, helping industries ensure the longevity and reliability of their products.
Main Functions
Irradiation Function
During the irradiation function, a water-cooled xenon lamp is utilized to simultate the damage effects of sunlight and the lamp control system regulates irradiance to ensure it meets the requirements stipulated in standards. The water cooling system removes the heat generated by the xenon lamp through circulating cooling water, maintaining it at an optimal operating temperature, thereby extending the service life of the xenon lamp.
Fog Function
When the Fog Function is performed, the salt solution in the external tank is pumped to the nozzle. Compressed air is humidified and heated by the saturator on its way to the nozzle. The corrosion solution is atomized by the salt spray nozzle and sprayed evenly. Chamber heaters maintain the chamber at the set temperature. Self-cleaning module cleans the transparent protective cover after testing.
Spray Function
During the Spray Function, pure water from the external water purifier is pumped to the nozzles and then water droplets spray out uniformly to simulate the damage caused by rain and dew. The spray nozzle is pointed straight at test panel surface.
Moisture Control Function
During the Moisture Control Function, the humidifier automatically starts or stops the humidification function according to the set target humidity value. The circulating blower reduces the humidity inside the chamber by replenishing the air or increasing the circulating air volume.The humidity inside the chamber is controlled by the humidifier and the circulating blower.
Temperature Control Function
Chamber heaters at the bottom can heat the air in the chamber directly. The circulating blower blows hot air into the interior of the chamber and uses the ventilation system to circulate the hot air inside the box so that the temperature inside the chamber rises evenly. Damper and VFD help decrease the temperature inside the chamber by replenishing the air. A black panel thermometer or black standard thermometer is used to monitor the specimen surface temperature, which can be adjusted by the blower.
